The Untold Story of the Borinqueneers, Puerto Rican Heroes Who Fought for America
In this episode we’re diving deep into a piece of history most Puerto Ricans don’t even know about — the Borinqueneers, the legendary 65th Infantry Regiment.
We talk about how these Boricuas got drafted, sent to the front lines with bayonets, fighting in freezing Korea while speaking Spanish on the radio and English to command. We laugh, we get real, and we ask the tough questions: Why don’t we pass this down? Why do we feel more pride as Puerto Ricans than “Americans”?
